MECHANICSBURG — A sprint car driver died after crashing toward the end of a race Sunday night, track and hospital officials said.Billy Kimmel, 27, of Mechanicsburg, died following the three-car crash near the end of the 25-lap race, the Williams Grove Speedway said on its Web site. The crash happened on the third turn of the half-mile track, on the penultimate lap of the race.Kimmel was flown to Harrisburg Hospital, where he died around midnight, according to Christine Blain, a nursing supervisor at the hospital.
