Corn & soybean field day being held at The Vettori’s farm supply
Local farmers and agriculture-adjacent employees will have a chance to hear from expert voices on how to best care for their land, crops and businesses at an upcoming field day.
Penn State Extension Butler County is hosting a corn and soybean field day event starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at The Vettori’s farm supply store on Pittsburgh Street in Saxonburg.
According to Penn State Extension, topics will include herbicide demonstration plots for corn and soybeans, research data from Pennsylvania soybean board projects and upcoming agricultural research data and potential findings.
Butler is one of several counties Penn State Extension covers, keeping an eye on farming and agricultural trends.
