GREENVILLE — Seneca Valley graduate and Thiel College senior running back Steve Minton set a new school record for rushing yards in a game when he rumbled for 238 in the Tomcats' 37-13 win over Bethany College on Saturday.
Minton's total included touchdown runs of 76 and 23 yards.

NEW WILMINGTON— Despite 135 yards passing and 75 rushing from sophomore quarterback Andrew DiDonato, the Grove City College football team was defeated by host Westminster College, 14-7 on Saturday.The Wolverines' lone score of the game was a 1-yard run from Matt Weil early in the second quarter, which tied the game at seven.The Titans scored to take the lead for good when quarterback Kevin Franz hooked up with Jason Discello on a 6-yard scoring pass with 30 seconds left in the first half.
