SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Butler native Matt Clement pitched five innings and got the victory for Class AA Springfield in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday.

Clement, making his third rehab start in the St. Louis Cardinals' farm system, allowed five hits and three runs in a 5-3 win over Northwest Arkansas. He struck out three, hit two batters and threw 74 pitches.

CENTER TWP— Three area junior golfers won their respective divisions at the Kings Restaurants Junior Golf Tournament, which was held Monday at Aubrey's Dubbs Dred Golf Course.Matt Vogt of Cranberry Township (boys 17-18), Michael McNulty of Harmony (boys 15-16) and Brett Rinker of Slippery Rock (boys 14) won despite the rain-shortened event.Vogt fired a 46 over 12 holes, McNulty 62 over 15 holes and Rinker 74 over 17 holes.Marissa DeCola of Center Township finished in second place in the girls 14-15 bracket, firing a 77 over 18 holes.
