ERIE — Grove City High School graduate Lyndsi Hughes had nine carries for 90 yards Saturday night as the Pittsburgh Passion opened their 2010 football season with a 32-0 victory at Erie.

Hughes had a 53-yard touchdown run in the contest. The Passion play in the Independent Women's Football League and play their home opener at 7 p.m. April 17 at North Allegheny's Newman Stadium.

The IWFL consists of 45 teams this season.
