IN BRIEF
CHERRY TWP — Moniteau will likely be without standout dual-threat quarterback Kyle Armagost for its game at Brookville on Friday.
Armagost suffered a right knee injury while punting late in last week’s 20-6 win over Clarion. The senior’s X-rays came back negative, but he’s awaiting an MRI today. The MRI will provide details on the injury and give the coaching staff an idea of how long the quarterback will be sidelined.
Moniteau head coach Jeff Campbell said, pending the MRI results, it was unlikely Armagost would be available for Friday’s tilt at Brookville.
Dustin Geagan, Ethan Pry, Tanner Blair and Joey Deal are all candidates to replace Armagost under center.
