Comtra Theatre, Route 19 in Cranberry Township, will present the comedy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" from Jan. 15 to 30. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is $12 for plays and $15 for musicals. Box office opens at 6:45 p.m. the day of the show. Call 724-773-9896.

<B>The national tour of "Dreamgirls"</B> is making its Pittsburgh premiere through Sunday at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave. The musical tells the story of an up-and-coming, 1960s singing girl group, and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. today, at 8 p.m. Friday, at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $22 to $66 and are available by calling 412-392-4900 or online at www.pgharts.org.<B>Pittsburgh Public Theater</B> in the O'Reilly Theater, 621 Penn Ave., starts 2010 with two completely different plays. Running Jan. 6 to 10 will be the farewell production of "The Chief," a one-man show that celebrates Steelers founder Art Rooney Sr. This show is currently sold out but a limited number of "standing room" tickets will be available one hour prior to each performance, sold in person at the O'Reilly box office only. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Jan. 6 to 8; at 2 and 8 p.m. Jan. 9, and at 1 p.m. Jan. 10. Ticket prices are $48 and $65; students and those age 26 and younger pay $15. Running Jan. 21 to Feb. 21 will be William Shakespeare's comic "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Tickets range from $35 to $55; students and those age 26 and younger pay $15.
