PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Opera's classic New Year's Eve celebration called Auld Lang Syne will feature Butler County native Marianne Cornetti tonight in Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland.

Cornetti, a mezzo-soprano, will perform in concert at 9 p.m. along with Maestro Antony Walker and the resident artists of Pittsburgh Opera and the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra.

The black-tie optional evening reminiscent of grand Viennese style also features dinner, dancing and a midnight champagne toast.Tickets for the entire evening are $300 per person; tickets for the concert and party are $125; and tickets for the concert only are $75.
