<B>Rangos Omnimax Theater</B> at the Carnegie Science Center, One Allegheny Ave. on the North Side, will host free previews at 8 p.m. Jan. 16 for "Extreme," a combination of extreme sports action with a contemporary soundtrack, and at 8 p.m. Jan. 30 for "Wildfire: Feel the Heat," which brings to life the struggles of firefighters as they battle three of the more than 20,000 wildfires that occur each year. The free previews are open to the general public, but online registration is required. Continuing to be shown are "Volcanoes of the Deep Sea," "Mysteries of the Great Lakes" and "Under the Sea," plus at limited times "The Polar Express." Admission cost varies.
