The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., is seeking artists for the "Cold Winter, Hot Jazz" exhibit to be featured Jan. 27 to Feb. 19. More than $1,000 in cash will be awarded for this show with a wide-open theme: anything to do with music, although the goal is for some artists to draw inspiration from the jazz era of the 1920s and 1930s. <B>Carnegie Museum of Art</B>, 4400 Forbes Ave., continues Neapolitan Presepio, the Italian Nativity scene, plus the five theme-decorated trees only through Sunday. The Ailsa Mellon Bruce Galleries for decorative arts has been reopened after a closure of almost 10 years. The galleries contain some 500 examples of American and European decorative arts and design from the mid-18th century through the present day. "Gods, Love, and War: Tapestries and Prints from the Collection" will be on display through June 3. "Palm Springs Modern: Photographs by Julius Shulman" continues through Jan. 31.
