2 adults, 1 child injured in Brady Twp. accident

A head-on collision of a Ford minivan and a Kia Optima at about 5:23 p.m. Tuesday on William Flynn Highway near Hall Road in Brady Township left three individuals with minor injuries.

Victims included an adult male, adult female and a girl who accompanied the adult female.

Nathan Wulff, deputy chief of the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company, said both vehicles are likely totaled.

He also said the accident was “run-of-the-mill,” and although the fire department initially called for a medical helicopter, only one victim, the adult female, was transported by others.

The helicopter was called off because the injuries were not severe.

Officials rerouted traffic while firefighters cleaned up the debris, but both vehicles were able to be moved off the road and were picked up by tow trucks.

The road was reopened completely by 5:58 p.m.

Alongside Unionville, also responding to the scene were Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company, Butler Ambulance Service and Pennsylvania State Police.
