James E. Lutz

James E. Lutz, 54, of Slippery Rock died at 12:31 p.m. Monday at United Community Hospital, Grove City, after a heart seizure.

Born Nov. 29, 1950, in Glassport, Allegheny County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Iva Carothers Lutz.

He was a member of the Branchton United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting.

Mr. Lutz had worked at Pullman Standard and then worked in the construction industry.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Potsubay Lutz, whom he married Jan. 22, 1972; three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Jennifer) Pierson of Severn, Md., Mrs. Javier (Jodi) Saez-Lutz of Valladolid, Spain, and Jamie Lutz of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Wallace of Grove City and Bonnie Mosley of West Sunbury.

A brother preceded him in death.

LUTZ - Friends of James E. Lutz, who died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at North Washington Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Branchton United Methodist church.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
