Musical Theatre Guild of Butler presents the comedy "Hats!" through Sunday in the William A. Lehnerd Performance Hall in Butler Memorial Park. This is a tale about a 49.999-year-old woman who reluctantly faces the inevitable big 5-0. Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Freeport Theatre Festival opens its 22nd summer season with the world premiere of "Spotlight!" described as new comic entertainment of whimsical proportions, written by Louise Rockwell and directed by Marushka Steele.
