Showing their appreciation
Butler State Police and the Butler Sheriff’s Office responded to calls from HIS Kids Christian School on Wednesday. But there was no reason for alarm. Officers from both departments drove up to the building with siren lights but it wasn’t an emergency they were responding to. Every year, students with the school hold a police appreciation day in February to thank law enforcement. This year they invited State Police and the Sheriff’s Office to visit the school and accept gifts from the students. They were met with more than a hundred students at the front of the school on Saxonburg Road.
