SEE YOU IN THE AMAZON

The Amazon River is the largest river in the world by volume. Its most remote source is a peak called Nevado Mismi in the Peruvian Andes. Its drainage basin covers 2.7 million square miles of South America. It is home to a rainforest that covers 5.4 million square miles, more than 3,000 species of fish, including the notorious piranha, and 18- to 20-foot-long anaconda snakes.
