PITTSBURGH — This year marks the 50th anniversary of the development of studio art glass in the United States.

In recognition, the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass has organized more than 160 glass demonstrations, lectures and exhibitions across the country.

The Society for Contemporary Craft joins the celebration by presenting “Pittsburgh Studio Glass,” an exhibit featuring the work of Drew Hine, Theo Keller, Jon Sirockman and Bill Zarvis.

The exhibition, which offers an in-depth look at the techniques and work of these four contemporary studio makers, is on view through Sept. 30 at the SCC's satellite gallery at BNY Mellon Center, 500 Grant St., in the lobby of the Steel Plaza T-Station in downtown Pittsburgh. The exhibit is open daily through midnight.
