The Pittsburgh Philharmonic will have a free concert for the Fourth of July beginning at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in Zelienople Park, followed by the borough's fireworks display.

Concerts to Munch By, hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association, will be off July 4 for the holiday. The series continues July 11 with the Butler Symphony Percussion All-Stars. Each Wednesday there will be free, half-hour concerts starting at 12:15 p.m. at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. The series runs through Aug. 22. A free family summer concert series hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will start at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park. Performing Tuesday will be the Shakin Bacon Cloggers. Call 724-284-5383.

The Harmony summer concert series, presented by the Harmony Business Association, takes place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on certain Thursdays in front of the Harmony Inn. Those attending should take their own seating. Scheduled tonight is Eugene and the Nightcrawlers.

Musicians' Concert Band performs tonight and July 12 and 26 and Aug. 2, all beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Butler Intermediate High School. Admission is $5. Visit www.musiciansconcertband.com.

Chicora Medical Center's third annual “Rockin the Rose” concert series presents the Beagle Brothers performing their bluegrass and folk music outdoors at 7 p.m. today at 160 Medical Center Drive. Hartwood Acres hosts a free performance by the Pittsburgh Symphony at 8:15 p.m. July 8 at the Middle Road amphitheater in Hampton Township, Allegheny County.
