Moraine State Park shows historic oil well operation from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the central powerhouse site beyond the forestry and regional office building on Park Road off Route 528. McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, hosts Art in the Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and July 29 and Aug. 19. The historic gristmill is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through October. Interpretive tours, which last about 45 minutes, are available at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
