Associated Artists of Butler County at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., will have its Underground Gallery Christmas party Friday, featuring performances by Dot Dot Dot She Loves Me Not, Overdose on Vitamins, Pressin' On, Oceans of Glass, and Ronnie Dobbs. Doors open at 6 p.m. Cover charge is $5. The annual holiday show and sale continues through Dec. 31 in the main gallery. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 Main St., rear, in Saxonburg, hosts its annual members themed exhibit “Governing Bodies” through Dec. 30. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents work by New York-based contemporary artist Cory Arcangel through Jan. 27. Best known for his modified versions of obsolete video games, Arcangel employs readymade digital technology as his primary medium. “Inventing the Modern World,” which showcases decorative arts and design innovations from World’s Fairs, continues through Feb. 24.
