The Associated Artists of Butler County group presents the Christmas Art Show and Sale, which will run through Jan. 3 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The Art Center's Underground Gallery will have its December Band Night on Friday. Several bands will perform, and a shadowcast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show is planned. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the bands starting at 7 p.m. Bands will include Down They Fall, The Billy Mack Collective, My Thoughts in Color, and 52 hz. The shadowcast will begin around 9 p.m. Cover is $5. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Red Brick Gallery, 17 Main St., Foxburg, presents the Christmas Holidays Members Show through Dec. 22. The co-op consists of 15 artists from Butler, Clarion, Venango and Armstrong counties. All types of drawing and painting, fiber art, ceramics, photography and jewelry will be on display. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., hosts the exhibition “Teenie Harris Photographs: Civil Rights Perspectives” through March 31 and “Storyteller: The Photographs of Duane Michals” through Feb. 16. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays with extended hours until 8 p.m. Thursdays, except holidays. Museum admission is $17.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens age 65 and older, $11.95 for students with ID and children ages 3 to 18, and free for children younger than 3.
