Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. PITTSBURGH

Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents a Burns Bash on Jan. 16 at the Pittsburgh Golf Club. Robert Burns, widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, was the favorite poet of museum founder Andrew Carnegie. Guests of the dinner will be treated to a Scottish strolling supper and dessert buffet, whisky tasting, music, bagpiper, highland dancers, silent auction and souvenir photograph. Tickets are $125.
