• More than 50 examples of printmaking art are displayed during “Magic Realism: The Work of Colorado Master Printmaker Charles Hardy” through Feb. 11 in the Martha Gault Art Gallery in Maltby Center.
• Black History Month is being celebrated with lectures, poetry and dance. A presentation of poetry and a video featuring the parallels of historical moments at SRU within black history will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Smith Student Center Ballroom. Herman Boone, the high school football coach whose life was memorialized in the film “Remember the Titans,” will lecture at 8 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Smith Student Center. The film will be shown at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Advanced Science and Technology Center.
Westminster College
The department of communication studies, theater and art hosts an exhibition through March 20 in the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. The “Ancients” exhibit showcases sculptures from artist Inga Hamilton, which are composed of textiles, ceramics, resin, bone, leather and polystyrene. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
