Titanic Tales
BUTLER TWP — “Unsinkable Women: Stories and Songs from the Titanic” will be presented by Deborah Jean Templin at 8 p.m. April 17 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.
Templin uses actual diaries, letters and interviews to bring to life nine figures from the Titanic, including Madeline Astor and Margaret Tobin “Unsinkable Molly” Brown.
The theatrical show runs about two hours and has Templin alone on stage with a wardrobe full of clothing. She changes clothes to represent different characters and even sings while talking about the different people who survived the sinking of the Titanic.
The performance is part of BC3’s Performing Artists Mini-Series, which brings national touring shows to campus.
Tickets are $20. Call 724-284-8505 or visit www.bc3.edu/theater. Tickets also will be available at the door.
