Eye on Sports: That’s a wrap on Season 2 - best interviews, funniest moments and “Who’s that Pokemon?”
Happy second birthday to “Eye on Sports!”
Not really, but it’s close. The Butler Eagle’s top sports podcast concludes its second season today with our annual year in review episode. We’ll return in a few weeks for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
This week, Derek Pyda, Brendan Howe and Jake Merda Adams take a trip down memory lane as Laura Crago — host of “Alter Eagle” — steps into the captain’s chair this week to relive some of Season 2’s best and funniest moments.
Whether it’s Derek’s “Mediocre!” or one of the many interviews we had this season with coaches and athletes, Season 2 was packed with favorite moments.
And in a fittingly laughable conclusion to the season — not according to this writer, though — Dominic the Intern pits the three reporters against each other for a game of “Who’s that Pokemon?” but with a twist. One of us got embarrassed badly.
