The Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., Lyndora, will sponsor a trip Aug. 4 to the Meadows Casino.

The bus departs from Tanglewood at 9:30 a.m. and loads for the return trip at 6 p.m.

Slippery Rock — The Fabric and Sewing Center Quilt Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 23 at Center Presbyterian Church, Maple and Center Streets.Teachers Louise Smith and Eileen Datt will share new books and designs at the free event. SAXONBURG — Volunteers will be available to document quilts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 24 at the Saxonburg Library, 240 West Main Street.The Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation would like to document as many Western Pennsylvania quilts as possible.Quilts will be photographed and measured and details about its history, ownership and design will be noted.
