Bible conference kicks off Sunday

PORTERSVILLE - The 76th annual Western Pennsylvania Bible Conference will take place beginning Sunday at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, Routes 19 and 488.

Sessions will be held at 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday, 7:30 p.m. Monday through June 26 and at 3 and 7 p.m. June 27.

The Rev. Gregory Gertz, has served Baptist churches throughout the U.S. he also started a sister-church program with a congregation in Moldova, the former Soviet Union.

He will discuss, "The Truth About Sanctification," during the Sunday through Wednesday sessions.

The Rev. Richard Burr is a former national director of Here's Life America and Here's Life World of the Campus Crusade for Christ. He also founded the Think-Pray-Act Ministries, an interdenominational prayer discipleship ministry focused on personal and corporate revival.

He will discuss, "The Unleashing of God's Life-Sustaining Power," during the Thursday through June 27 sessions.

Childcare will be available. Admission is free but an offering will be collected.
