BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
A finale service for the vacation Bible school program will be held at 6:15 p.m. Friday at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. The event will include awards and crafts. Refreshments will be served.
The vacation Bible school picnic has been changed, and will be held noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Moraine State Park. Participants should look for balloons.
The teen youth group will meet at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at the church, for a pontoon boat ride at Moraine State Park.
Registration for the district Sunday school ministries workshops and rally will be at 12:30 p.m. July 22 at the Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Center. Workshops will begin at 1 p.m. and the evening rally will begin at 7 p.m. Attorney David Gibbs Jr., founder and president of the Christian Law Association, will be the guest speaker.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
The Chancel Choir of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will provide music for the Sunday worship service at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Members are asked to assist with the weekly fellowship at Island Playground from Monday through July 23. The program begins at 4:45 p.m. Food donations of hot dog buns, chips, snacks and fruit may be brought to the church on Sunday.
A gathering for young adults of the church will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cole residence.
In July and August, children of the congregation will be collecting coins for "A Mile of Pennies" to assist with programs at Fellowship United Methodist Church, Ambridge.
Peanut butter and jelly are being collected for the Covenant Food Cupboard.
CHRIST'S OUTREACH
Local musicians Tammie Summers and Frank Russo will provide music for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave.
The Lord's Supper will be served at the 7 p.m. Saturday service and at the 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services.
Food and household supplies are currently needed for the "Food For Friends" table. Donations can be taken to the church during office hours or at service times.
The adult Bible study will begin a new adventure in the book of Acts at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The mission council is collecting labels from Campbell's, V8 and Pepperidge Farm products to support the Sun Valley Indian School in Arizona. The school needs to purchase computers and vans. Labels can be placed in the boxes at the rear of the sanctuary or in the church office during office hours.
COMMUNITY ALLIANCE
A southern gospel concert by "The Southernaires" of Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
COVENANT PRESBY
Darla Peterson will be the guest soloist at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.
Vacation Bible school will conclude with a luau at 6 p.m. Friday at Masonic Shelter in Alameda Park.
The food cupboard is requesting donations of cereal.
FAITH FELLOWSHIP
A Friday night fellowship will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the pavilion at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. Participants should meet in the lower level if it is raining. Participants should also take a dish to share, drinks, and games.
Family nights for children will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Father Marinaro Park.
A combined service will be held at 10:30 a.m. July 25. Music will be provided by Wes Thurston. This will be the only Sunday morning service on that date.
FIRST BAPTIST
Members of the Fellowship Sunday school class of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will hold a social at 7 p.m. Friday in the Baptist Youth Center.
The church will assist with a junior high camp Monday through July 24 at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp.
The first weekly practice sessions for the Kidz Praise choir will be held Wednesday in the church social rooms. Practices are open to children in first through sixth grade.
FIRST U.M.
The youth of First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will leave for a mission trip to Marvell, Ark., on Saturday.

The new God's Country Worship Band will practice at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Epworth Center.
Gary D'Urso will give a creation presentation at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the main sanctuary.
FIRST PRESBY OF BAKERSTOWN
First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, will hold a combined worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. During the service, children and volunteers involved in Summer Blast Camp will be recognized and will sing camp songs.
The summer mission project, "Rehab Rally" with Hosanna Industries will be held July 25 to 30. Registration is due Sunday. Volunteers may register for a day or two or for the entire week. To register, call the church at 724-443-1555.

A potluck dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. Participants should take a dish to share.
HILL U.P.
The youth of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will meet at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at the church to pack lunches for the community.

Technical rehearsals for staging, lighting and sound for M.A.D. camp will be held 6 p.m. July 23, and 10:30 a.m. July 24.
An All-American dinner will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. July 24. Cost is $6 for adults, with reduced prices for seniors and children.
MUDDY CREEK U.P.
Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church and the Unionville Parish will have a joint picnic Saturday at the Muddy Creek Church, 341 Muddy Creek Drive. Bingo will begin at 4 p.m., and dinner will start at 5 p.m. Participants should take table service, lawn chairs and picnic food.
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
