The following churches have announced dates for vacation Bible school:

• Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, and Trinity Lutheran Church will host “Son Treasure Island” from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Friday at Rider Lutheran Church for children age 3 to those who have completed sixth grade. • First Baptist Church of Butler, 221 W. New Castle St., will have “Home Town Nazareth” from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday for children age 2 to those who have completed sixth grade. For more information, call 724-287-7241.

• Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will offer “Backstage with the Bible” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday for children age 3 through eighth grade. Register online at saxonburg.org or in person. For more information, call 724-352-2888.

• Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, will host the Slippery Rock community vacation Bible school from 5:15 to 8 p.m. June 22 to 26 for students from preschool to those who have completed sixth grade. A light supper will be served.

• First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will offer “SonWest Roundup” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 22 to 26 for children from age 3 to those who have completed sixth grade. It is free. To register, call 724-283-2378 or visit felc.org.
