Prospective changes to the Catholic Mass, if they are approved by Vatican Council, include:

• "Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might" would become "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts."

• The Nicene Creed would begin "I believe" instead of "We believe." It would change from "born of the Virgin Mary" to "incarnate of the Virgin Mary."

• Parishioners' response to the priest's "The Lord be with you" would move from "And also with you" to "And with your spirit."

• The portion of the Mass' Act of Penitence would change from "through my fault" to "through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault."

• The Communion prayer "Lord, I am not worthy to receive you" would become "Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof."
