Australian acrobats swing into action at SRU
SLIPPERY ROCK — Australian acrobatic troupe Gravity & Other Myths will present a program called “A Simple Space” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Slippery Rock University’s Smith Student Center, as part of the Performing Arts Series.
Gravity & Other Myths moves away from traditional circus models of performance.
In the troupe’s newest show, the seven acrobats push their physical limits, supported by driving live percussion.
Formed in 2009 in Adelaide, South Australia, ensemble members create and direct their own work.
The company has won multiple Best Circus honors.
