Travis R. Yates

My main reason for volunteering is because I really enjoy working with small children, especially from ages 3 to 5 years old, at the Butler County Children’s Center.

The staff is very friendly and works well together. The atmosphere at the center is very positive.

My responsibilities include setting up and cleaning up after breakfast and lunch.

I also enjoy playing various games with the kids.

In general, I help the teacher with various tasks. My time spent at the center is very rewarding.

Travis Yates, 27, lives in Franklin Township with his dad and step-mother, Kevin Yates and Nancy Monday-Yates. He attends St. Luke’s Evangelical Church in Saxonburg. He is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Elvis Presley fan.
