Butler County Memorial Park, Mausoleum

Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum has a long tradition of being a part of the Butler community for more than 70 years.

As Butler’s premier cemetery it has earned the nickname “Cemetery Beautiful”. What started out as a dream on the part of its founders, it has now flourished into the most popular cemetery in all of Butler County, serving all faiths and denominations. With its fully air-conditioned and heated chapel, your services can be held inside during inclement weather, in a controlled environment, rather than exposed to the harsh elements provided by Mother Nature.

Employees of Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum have been members of many organizations throughout their 70-plus years of business including the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Butler Hospital Junior Auxiliary Program, the Pennsylvania Cemetery and Funeral Association, and the Rotary Club of Butler. Recently, the manager of Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Paul Simms, received an award from Rotary International for his contributions to the eradication of polio throughout the world.

A former board member and past president of the Butler Club, Paul was instrumental in expanding Rotary through the addition of a Rotary Club in Cranberry Township in 1999, and the addition of a second Rotary club serving Butler 2000.

The helpful and friendly staff of Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum looks forward to the next 70 years of service to the community and beyond.
