Gettysburg pet store goes 1860s
GETTYSBURG — The owners of a new pet store here operate under a simple philosophy — only sell what they would want for their own pets.
Stephanie Honodel and Diana Guy of Gettysburg told The Evening Sun of Hanover about merchandise that includes Civil War-era costumes for dogs and cats.
Dogs of Gettysburg opened at the Old Gettysburg Village shopping center in spring. It offers collars, pet beds, T-shirts and 1860s-era dresses and uniforms.
The store features items made by Honodel, Guy and local vendors.
