HARRISBURG — A bill to put more restrictions on Pennsylvania strip clubs and institute a state registry for strippers and others in the adult entertainment industry won’t move through a legislative committee this week after all.

The sponsor, Rep. Matt Baker, said Monday the bill that aims to combat sex trafficking has been put on hold to give the Judiciary Committee time to gather input from stakeholders.

Baker’s bill would require the businesses and their employees to register with the Department of State and pay a fee. And it would remove alcohol from clubs that feature nudity.
