ZELIENOPLE — Holiday gift bags of gently used books will be available at the Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., beginning Wednesday.

Themed gift bags are assembled by the Friends of the Library. Subjects include history, fiction, romance, cookbooks, bestsellers and children’s books grouped by age.

Bags come ready to give with tissue paper and labeled with a list of the books in the bag.

The library will have its annual Polar Express Night at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8.

Children are encouraged to attend in their pajamas to hear a reading of the book “The Polar Express.” There also will be a craft and a visit from Santa. Polar Express Night is free.
