Sue and Jay Sasse

Jay and Sue Sasse of Summit Township will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. Afamily dinner is planned in their honor.

The former Sue Zellerino married Sasse on Feb. 8, 1958, at the Free Methodist Church in Butler.

They have three children, Terri Rettig of Clarkston, Mich.; Jay Sasse Jr. of Butler; and John Sasse of Gibsonia.

They also have four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Sasse is retired from Pullman Standard and Jay's Furniture Refinishing. He is a member of a sportsman's club and is an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mrs. Sasse is a retired cook and caterer.

The couple belongs to Westminster Presbyterian Church in America.
