10:01 p.m., Thursday — A one-vehicle accident happened near 501 Belmont Road in Butler Township.

Gretchen Cypher, 44, of Chicora was driving when her vehicle went off the road and overturned. She suffered multiple lacerations and was transported by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.

Cypher’s vehicle was towed. Butler Township Fire District 6 was on the scene. Police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information regarding the accident should call 724-287-7769.

6:45 p.m. May 21 — Two women were cited with harassment following an incident at Butler Commons.

An unidentified victim told police she was being followed and harassed by two women she said had previously assaulted her. Officers identified Sarah Koch, 18, of Butler and Paige Cestrone, 18, of Butler as the two women.

May 21 — Laura McCrea, 29, of Chicora was charged with theft by deception following an incident at Wal-Mart in Butler Township.

McCrea was stopped by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention personnel after she allegedly concealed 10 items worth a total of $22.15.

She also allegedly took an item worth $66.76 from a shelf and attempted to return the item to customer service for a gift card.

6:50 Monday — Two teenagers from Templeton, Pa. were charged with burglary following an incident at a power plant in Washington Township. A 15-year-old female and a 15-year-old male allegedly entered a secured power plant and took several items. Police apprehended them on scene.

Sunday — An overdose happened on Brickyard Road at in East Franklin Township.

A 29-year-old male of East Franklin Township was transported to Armstrong Center for Medicine & Health after police responded to an overdose.

May 20 — A Manor Township man was arrested for retail theft following an incident at Dollar General in East Franklin Township.

A 46-year-old white man, whose name was not available, allegedly took a 20-inch box fan and a 12-inch oscillating fan from Dollar General without paying for them.

Charges have not yet been filed.
