1:07 a.m. today - Richard Hill, 49, of 402 Zeigler Ave. was arrested for driving under the influence on West Jefferson Street.

2:59 a.m. Sunday - Michael Roberts, 29, of Cabot apparently feel asleep while driving a car on Pierce Avenue. The car crashed into a newspaper vending box, wooden fence and concrete walkway that crosses a creek.2:27 a.m. Sunday - Crystal Kennedy, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Alameda Road. She was also cited for careless driving1:48 a.m. Sunday - James Stokes, 32, of Oil City, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Alameda Road near the Park Manor apartments. Stokes is also charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving with a suspended license, and a stop sign violation.10:52 a.m. Saturday - Stephanie Knupsky, 27, of Karns City and Michael Loveday, 38, of Butler were arrested for allegedly taking several DVDs from the Giant Eagle store at Moraine Pointe Plaza.Both suspects are charged with retail theft and conspiracy. Loveday is also charged with reckless endangerment.

Monday - A Craftsman power saw valued at $400 and a nail gun valued at $350 were taken between Friday and Monday in a burglary at a construction site on Orchard Drive in Prospect.Monday - A Honda CR250 dirt bike, being sold and chained to a tree, was stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday from a Medical Center Road home in Donegal Township. Owners Brian Henry and Tim Kiser said they discovered the theft after finding the chain cut and the bike gone.12:35 a.m. Saturday - Steven Desko IV, 24, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township.

Monday - Police reported that Justin Wayne Kirkham, 57, of Rimersburg was arrested on charges he sexually assaulted a girl during a 6-month period at a home in Rimersburg, Clarion County.The girl told police that Kirkham had assaulted her numerous times between Jan. 1 and Thursday. The defendant, charged with rape and other sexual assault-related charges, is in the Clarion County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Monday - Eric Hankey, 23, of Emlenton was arrested for allegedly violating a court-issued protection from abuse order issued to Michelle Hankey, 29, of Emlenton. Police said the defendant was charged after he allegedly went to a Main Street home in Emlenton, Venango County, where Michelle Hankey was staying.

9 p.m. Thursday - Mitchell Berends reported that jewelry, a coin collection and medication were taken in a burglary at his Browntown Road home in Liberty Township, Mercer County.
