12:11 p.m. Thursday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Neal Christensen, 50, of 675 Saxonburg Blvd. and a car driven by Dawn Book, 22, of Petrolia collided on South Cliff Street. Christensen was cited for careless driving. Book was cited for driving an uninsured vehicle.
11:39 a.m. Thursday - Ronnie Becker, 60, no known address, was arrested after he allegedly claimed an undisclosed disability to obtain free food at one store at the Greater Butler Mart and went into another store at the same shopping center after being told to leave for an undisclosed reason.Becker was arraigned on charges of retail theft and trespassing, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $1,500 bond.
3 a.m. today - Carrie Ann Lawther, 25, of Harmony was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Community Park Road in Forward Township.3:10 p.m. Monday - Michael Dorcy, 44, of 339 E. Locust St., Butler, was arraigned on drug-related charges following a six-month police investigation.Dorcy is accused of selling cocaine to a police informant on Sept. 30 and selling heroin to an informant on Oct. 22. Both deals occurred in Butler.He was arraigned on charges of delivery and possession of a controlled substance, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.Monday - A 2003 Suzuki RM 100 motorcycle, valued at $3,500, was taken from the Bonniebrook Road home of Max Stepp in Jefferson Township. The burglary occurred between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. Monday.Sunday - A window was broken and several window screens were removed in a failed burglary attempt at the Keister Road home of Robert Mester in Slippery Rock Township. The attempted burglary occurred between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
7 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Eric McMillen, 27, of Chicora struck a guardrail and traveled into a ditch along Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County. McMillen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries.
