2 p.m. Monday - Jason Hovis, 22, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 near the Greater Butler Mart,

2 p.m. Tuesday - Cars driven by Jan Edelstein, no age given, of Seven Fields and John Paulik, no age given, of Pittsburgh collided on the Route 228 North off-ramp in Cranberry Township. Paulik, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.11:50 a.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by Eric Steighner, 19, of Butler struck a mailbox and several trees along Holyoke Road in Center Township. Steighner, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.1:09 a.m. Tuesday - Patrick McCamey, no age given, of Slippery Rock was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 near Mercer Road in Center Township.Monday - Someone broke a window above doors in the front of the Oakland Township Elementary School. The vandalism occurred between 2 p.m. Friday and noon Monday.
