4:44 p.m. Wednesday - Ivory Moore, 51, of 233 Cecelia St. was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Mary Boggs, 41, during a domestic dispute at the couple's home.Boggs was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries in the assault. Moore is charged with simple assault.
Wednesday - A Briggs & Stratton generator was taken in a theft between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday at Greene's Market on Route 422 in Summit Township.7:30 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Billie Kerr, 47, of Chicora struck a utility pole and embankment along Center Drive in Oakland Township.3:30 a.m. Tuesday - John Petrarulo, 20, of Pittsburgh was arrested for allegedly breaking into a car and taking assorted tools from the vehicle on Route 68 near Spithaler Road in Forward Township. Petrarulo, who is charged with theft from a motor vehicle, is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.7:40 a.m. Monday - A vehicle driven by Michael Lilley, 20, of Weedville, Elk County, veered off Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and rolled onto its side. The crash closed the southbound Exit 99 ramp for about two hours.July 22 - Two Butler County men are accused of breaking into a barn at a Kohlmeyer Road home in Venango Township between Aug. 20 and 22, and taking a Suzuki 125 motorcycle.Travis Bruno, 18, of 319 Halston Road, Clay Township, and John Haslett, 21, of 137 Beacon Lane, Center Township, are charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
1 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Klayton Baer, 19, of Kittanning struck a guardrail on Route 128 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Baer, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for careless driving and driving without wearing a seat belt.
