2:23 a.m. Sunday - Frederick Eggleton, 24, of 129 Third Ave. was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street.10 a.m. Sunday - Richard Nulph said someone overnight smashed out the window of a car at his North Main Street home and took $4.

11:20 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by John Morgan, 17, of Winfield Township struck a utility pole on Neupert Road in Jefferson Township. Morgan, who was cited for careless driving, was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.Sunday - A Craftsman toolbox containing an assortment of tools was taken from a sport utility vehicle between 3 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday at the Slippery Rock Apartments in Slippery Rock Township. Jason Messina of Slippery Rock owns the tools valued at about $300.8:45 a.m. Saturday - An unknown identified red Jeep struck the rear of a Mack truck driven by Andrew Francisco, 24, of New Castle on Interstate 79 in Worth Township, and did not stop following the crash. The Jeep had the Pennsylvania license plate EZH2315.

2:30 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Robert Kaltenbaygh 56, of Sandy Lake and a car driven by Diana Hargenrader, 50, of Oil City collided on Route 62 in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County.1:15 a.m. Saturday - Charles Allen Richards, 19, of Sharon was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 208 and 19 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
