10 p.m. Wednesday - James Rapp, 18, of 420 Ridge Ave., Butler, was arrested for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order issued to a Mercer Street woman. Rapp is accused of calling the woman and threatening her. He was arraigned on a charge of indirect criminal contempt, and placed in the Butler county Prison in lieu of $1,500 bond.12:40 a.m. Wednesday - Jason Mulig, 29, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on South Cliff Street.

5:40 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Robert Livingston, 19, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Karen Mazza, 42, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, collided on Leasureville Road in Winfield Township. Dean Pistorius, 19, of Saxonburg, a passenger in the car who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.Wednesday - Julie Sebring reported an undisclosed amount of currency was taken between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday from a car at her Saxonburg Road home in Jefferson Township.
