3:17 p.m. Friday - Calvin Ledbetter, 19, of Pittsburgh was arrested at an American Avenue home and charged with selling drugs.Police spotted Ledbetter at the home and allegedly saw him throw two plastic bags containing suspected cocaine out a window. Officers searched the defendant and found a trace amount of marijuana and $400 in currency.Ledbetter was arraigned on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana. He was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bond and released Saturday after posting bail.
10:55 p.m. Sunday - Robert R. Anderson, 32, of Tarentum, Allegheny County was arrested for driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a tree along Kyle Road. Anderson, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
1:20 a.m. today - A sport utility vehicle driven by Gerald Murberger Jr., 22, of Enon Valley, Beaver County, backed into the front of a car on Route 8079 at the Route 19 overpass in Cranberry Township, and did not stop following the crash.Cranberry police stopped Murberger in his SUV on Route 19. State police said hit-and-run charges are pending. Jeremias Mueller, 23, of Zelienople was driving the car struck in the crash.11:07 a.m. Monday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Robert Hilliards, 44, of Karns City hit a guardrail on Route 38 in Oakland Township, crossed back across the road, struck an embankment and flipped onto its roof. Hilliards, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.12:45 a.m. Wednesday - Danny Hamilton, 22, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck an embankment along Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township.5:15 a.m. Dec. 14 - A tri-axle truck driven by Merle Sarver, 42, of Freeport traveled off Westminster Road in Clinton Township and rolled onto its side. Sarver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.
