10:58 a.m. Dec. 9 - A car driven by Jeremy Oesterling, 25, of Evans City backed into the front bumper of a car driven by Janet Simons, 44, of Butler, at Main and North streets. Police said Oesterling, who drove away after the crash, was later cited for accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle.

8:20 p.m. Wednesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Paul Edwards, no age given, of Clearfield Township struck a mailbox and rolled over several times along Herman Road in Clearfield Township. Police said Edward fled the scene after the crash.Edwards, who was not wearing a seat belt and suffered unknown injuries, was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property, failure to notify police of an accident and other traffic violations.9:11 a.m. Wednesday - Icy road conditions were blamed, in part, for two crashes on Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township.A car driven by Michelle Smith, no age given, of Butler skidded off the road and struck a large rock. At the same time and only a short distance away, a van driven by Dale Harris, no age given, of Renfrew skidded off the road, spun around and rolled onto its side.7:05 a.m. Wednesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Michelle Thompson, 31, of Fenelton skidded off ice-covered Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township and struck a tree.
