8:20 a.m. Thursday - An unidentified red car, possibly a late 1980s or early 1990s model Chevrolet Cavalier with a black bumper, struck another car on Route 528 in Forward Township and did not stop. Micah Karns, no age given, of Evans City was driving the car struck in the crash.Anyone who saw the crash is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Wednesday - Nothing was apparently taken in a burglary at the West Slippery Rock Road home of Jason Ramsey and Amanda Beck in Chicora. The unknown burglar broke into the home between 2 and 11 p.m. through a rear window.Monday - A number of hand tools, power tools, three ceiling fans and two antique oak tables were taken from two trailers in burglaries between July 13 and 18 on Foxburg Road in Allegheny Township. Police estimated the loss of property and damage to the trailers at $1,300. Charles Blauser of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, owns the stolen property.1:45 a.m. July 12 - Thomas Sweeney, 64, of Brackenridge, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Fairview Road near Christ Hill Lane in Parker Township.

Tuesday - David Earl Wardle, 51, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence at East Main and Maple streets.Sunday - Charles Dennis Lee II, 26, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence at South Center and Main streets.
