These items have been collected from various police departments.

5 p.m. Sunday — Joshua Krystek, 20, of Hilliards faces several charges for trying to avoid police while riding an all-terrain vehicle on Branchton and Nagy roads in Washington Township.

Krystek is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, illegally driving an ATV on public roads, operating a motor vehicle in an unsafe manner, driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, and reckless driving.

Sunday — A radio and compact disc player were taken between 9 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 a.m. Sunday from a vehicle at a parking lot on Fire House Lane in Chicora. Dennis McCollough of Karns City owns the stolen property, valued at $140.

11:35 p.m. Saturday — James Manson, 52, of Pittsburgh swerved his car to avoid a deer on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township, causing the northbound vehicle to crash into the median and roll over before ending in the southbound lane.

A short time later, a southbound car driven by Philip Daniel, 61, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, struck Manson's wrecked vehicle

Manson and a passenger in his car, who police did not identify, both wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries. A passenger in Daniel's car, Joan Daniel, 58, of Gibsonia, who was wearing a seat belt, also suffered minor injuries.

Saturday — A Honda all-terrain vehicle, owned by Russell Kelley of Evans City, was stolen from Hilltop Road in the Woodlands, Connoquenessing Township. Police have a suspect, who they did not identify, in the theft.

Friday — One person was arrested for driving under the influence during a police Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative on Route 38 in Summit Township. Additionally, police cited a motorist for a traffic citation and issued warnings to six others.
