INSIDE WEDNESDAY

7:09 p.m. Sunday — Nathan Harmon, 49, of Kittanning was arrested for driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash on Route 1038 near the Kittanning Bridge in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

Police said Harmon's vehicle crossed the centerline into the opposite lane and collided with a vehicle driven by Charles Anthony, 61, of Kittanning.

Anthony, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by medical helicopter with serious injuries to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Two passengers in Anthony's vehicle, Raegan Anthony, 34, of Kittanning and an unidentified 3-year-old boy, were taken with minor to moderate injuries to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. Raegan Anthony was wearing a seat belt; the boy was in a child safety seat.

Condition reports of those injured in the crash were not available this morning.

Monday — Three tree stands were taken between noon Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday from trees in a wooded area off Jack Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. Ralph Custer of Jackson Center owns the stolen property.
