Wednesday — Police reported that Kristopher Bookhamer, 28, of Pittsburgh has been accused of stealing his mother's debit card and using it over the past several months to make a dozen or so purchases and withdrawals of $2,434.Lawona Double of Connoquenessing Township told police she immediately suspected her son when she discovered her debit card had been used without her knowledge at a convenience store and the Armco Credit Union, both in Butler.Bookhamer is charged with access device fraud.7:40 a.m. Tuesday — Pickup trucks driven by Richard Ball, 58, of East Butler and Drew Cashmere, 49, of Butler collided at Pittsburgh Road and Main Street.
Wednesday — An all-terrain vehicle and assorted tools were stolen from an out building in a burglary at the Harmony Road home of Steve Lange in Slippery Rock Township.Taken was a 2005 Kawasaki 360 ATV, two helmets and a 25-gallon Campbell Hausfield air compressor. Tools taken included a cordless power drill, two cordless saws, a circular saw and a socket set. The burglary occurred between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.Wednesday — More than $4,000 in construction equipment was stolen between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday from a work site on Branchton Road in Cherry Township.Among the items taken was a Honda portable welder valued at $2,000 and a 13-horsepower North Star generator, valued at $1,000. Also stolen was a framing gun, a power nailer and several other tools. Reed Homes of Cranberry Township owns the stolen property.12:43 p.m. Tuesday — Robert Morrow, 54, of Conway, Beaver County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.12:58 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by David Csupak, 36, of Pittsburgh and a mini-van driven by Joann Travis, 52, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, collided on the Interstate 79 on-ramp at Route 228 in Cranberry Township.7:54 p.m. July 15 — Ronald Previty, 37, of Mercer was injured when his motorcycle crashed at Route 58 and Black Road in Marion Township. Previty, who was not wearing a helmet, was treated for moderate injuries at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was later cited for a lane violation and not having a valid motorcycle license.
