1:35 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Eugene Hays, 75, of Summit Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by Ryan Newell, 34, of Trafford, Westmoreland County, collided on East Jefferson Street.Police suspect the crash occurred when Hays suffered some type of medical emergency. He was not injured in the crash but was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital to be checked out for the condition linked to the crash.

Wednesday — Police said they want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a two-vehicle crash at 6:56 p.m. Tuesday at Whitestown and South Eberhart roads. The crash involved a red car and a tan mini-van.Anyone with information is asked to call township police at 724-285-9600.
